The 3150 portable suspended solids analyzer uses optical methods to determine the content of solid suspended solids or sludge in water. It is equipped with a solid-state optical sensor, which has high sensitivity, wide measurement range, supports data recording and output functions, and is suitable for various water environments.
The 3150 sensor is based on the principle of single beam light absorption to determine suspended solids concentration. It can measure the concentration of solid particles in the aeration tank (1000-5000 mg/L) and the reflux activated sludge (RAS) content in the sewage treatment plant (7000-20000 mg/L), each with independent calibration points. Sensors use infrared emitters to reduce color effects and compensate the emitters based on changes in color temperature detected by the source brightness.
